Well just got back from my three days in April the weather spot on, fishing out of this world in one day 19 carp off the top best 14lb. In total over the three days 200lb the wife had lots of silver fish we will be back in May i will keep you all informed.

Well, just had another four day break at TTC and yet again Ray and Marie made it a fantastic break. The fishing was excellent as always although I didnt do as well as some, my best being a 10 lb common on my fly rod ! Brilliant !!! This fishery gets better and better and I cant wait to get back in May. Thanks for a fantastic break…… Again

Well what can I say about Tetford Country Cottages !!!!!!! this as got to be the best fishing holiday you can go on in this country, Ray & Marie make you very welcome and look after you.Marie and breakfast !!!!!!! looking forward to my next sitting i will be back in April then May & September MUST BE GOOD

Many Thanks for a wonderful weekend break I had at Tetford Country Cottages, the accomodation was first class, the cafe with its breakfasts to start the day was superb. The fishing was a little slow but that was down to my inexperiance but my weekend ended on a bright note on Sunday 22nd May with a 14lb Carp. Once again Thank You for a lovely time and I shall be definatley coming back to see you in the near future.
A massiff thaks 2 Ray and Marie for yet another fantastic stay.We have stayed in the cottages and they were beautifuly clean,relaxing and spacious. This time the kids wanted to try camping and i was pleasently surprised that i actualy enjoyed being at one with nature.The shower and toilet facilities were kept immaculate. The breakfast served in the cafe set us up for a days fishing.
I nor the kids had tried fishing before we stayed here but thanks to the advice from Ray we all managed 2 catch fish. Much to Daves dissapointment we are all hooked now so he’ll never get any peace.

Hi again.We just returned from another fab 4 days. I caught 3 big ones but unfortunatly never managed 2 land them but i swear 1 of them was the biggest fish ever or maybe thats just a fish tail.Ha. They put up a great fight but due to my inexperience the fish got away but it was very enjoyable and i will be back for another go. Kids caught loads and were very impressed with them selves and wallowed in their glory. I take my hat of to dave for catching 4 major whoppers and to make it even better he went on to land a ghostie,im soo soo jealous.The lake was swimming in fish and you could see them all the time but actualy catching them was something else,they are clever things.I swear they kept coming up just to blow me kisses an have a laugh at me. A graet time was had by all. See you all again soon. x
Just returned from 4 days of fishing here 24th to the 27th september 2011.My 3rd time here this year.The Wife and i have Been coming to tetford now for the past 3yrs. And bagged up on all visits with an assortment of fish. Rooms are great and the cafe, even the pegs round the lake are great. Makes a change not to sit in mud on some lakes i have been to. Always well looked after by Ray and Maria with Ray giving advise on the best methods on the day to catching fish. Im not really much of a carp man myself more silver fish,but on the galery you will find 1 or 2 of me with the odd carp. But mainly im the one that goes out for the silvers,Tench,Crucians.And some of the pictures in the gallery will also show some of the net fulls of silvers that i have caught. Thanks again. already booked end of may 2012 here. If you have never been give it a try.Tony
- Stayed in May 2011. Although we only stopped 1 night we had a fantastic time and would hope to come again for a longer stay. Also thanks to Ray for his fishing advice and to everybody else who made it such a pleasant stay

Had a lovely week as usual. In new cottage for us. Comfortable and welcoming like all the others we have stayed in. Have enjoyed Tetford for 22 years since the cottages opened. Marie and Ray are doing a great job – friendly, welcoming and always ready to help with fishing. Look forward to visiting again.
well another lovley stay on your idlic campsite peaceful bliss with better weather when l arrived this year , although l rember Ray,s concerned face last year when l pulled up on my motorcycle in pouring rain to tell him l was camping an that the rain was,nt a problem for me needless to say it did dry up that evening maybe easing his concern thanks for your warm friendly stay .weather anyone is staying in the lovely cottages or the peaceful idlic campsite you will fall for this place a litlle gem tucked away jus goes to show local is better than national business run places you get a more sencere place to stay see you next year

Everyone was so friendly which helped my sons 1st time of fishing go well. The cottage was all that I wanted. We only came for 2 nights but would like to return and stay longer. Thank you for a very good stay. Paul
had 7 holidays here in the last 2 years we love it martin is the fisherman and spends his time fishing but the bus service which stops nearly outside the main entrance means I could get out and about totally love the peace and quiet made new friends and will be returning in may and sept
Loved, loved, loved everything about my short stay there. It felt very “homely” or as I would say being an american “homey” and welcoming. I will certainly be back and bring my husband!
Just wanted to say thank you for our wonderful 4 day break. Excellent facilities and so easy for my disabled Hubby to have a great time. The cottage was immaculate and everything well explained, also very cosy. I had the perfect break and we will be back, Hubbys illness’s allowing, soon. Would strongly recommend the place and the area for anyone looking for a lovely holiday. You were all so friendly and helpful it was so nice to be treated so well.
