Car Park
tearoom and car park
Our car park provides the security of being off-road and is close to the cottages. Disabled parking is available very close to Bramble cottage (No 1) and the Tearoom. Access to the lake is via a ramped pathway.
Wireless Internet
We have wireless network installed with access to the Internet. You will need to enter a passcode to use our network (available from our Reception) and you must agree to our terms of use. We cannot guarantee that the signal strength will be strong enough for your equipment.
Tearoom
We serve English breakfast cooked to order in our on-site breakfast and Tearoom. We also offer cereals, hot and cold drinks homemade cakes, lunches, snacks, ice creams.Tetford Village shop is only a quarter of a mile away and stocks a wide range of groceries, dairy produce, bread, fruit and veg, stationary, papers and magazines, wines, beers, spirits and tobacco. They can also take orders for meat supplied by local producer and butcher Meridian Meat.Read more hereTackle StoreWe have a large brick built tackle store situated at the rear of the car park and central to all cottages. There are net dip tanks and two fridges to provide storage for maggots and other fresh baits. There are two doors both with ramps and the larger is wide enough for an electric mobility vehicle to be parked inside with power sockets available for re-charging. Customers can store their rods, tackle and trolleys in the dry and there is enough space to leave rods set-up if you wish. We are local suppliers of the Marukyu fishing baits including the explosive formula ground bait. There are good local bait/tackle shops in Louth, Horncastle & Alford.Read more here
Games Room and Children’s Play Area
We have a games room with pool table, darts board, Play Station 2 and a selection of games, toys and books and DVD’s to share.
There is children’s play area (ages 3 to 10) with fort, slide and swings. There is also a tree swing and tyre swing suitable for older children.
We have a selection of outdoor games to borrow including badminton sets and croquet set.
Laundry Room
We have a laundry room with automatic washing machine and tumble dryer (£1.50 per load). There is a rotary clothes line close to the laundry room. Washing powder is available to purchase from our shop. An iron and ironing board are available for you to borrow.
Holiday with your pets
We welcome dogs and other pets in designated cottages. Pet-free accommodation is also available. We have a large field adjacent to the lake where you where you can exercise your dog off the lead. There are two footpaths on our site which provide easy access across the village and out into the surrounding countryside.
Camping and Caravan Club Certificated Site
We also operate a five pitch site with electric hook-ups. The camping field is situated next to the main site and so the lake is readily accessible for day fishing. For more details click HERE
